BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – By riding his Jeep CJ-7, Rector of Universitas Pasundan, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU delivers graduation attributes to one of graduates’ house on Thursday, 11 November 2021.
Rector’s door-to-door visit is not without reasons, but is part of the preparation and appreciation for the graduates who will attend the online Phase 1 Online Graduation Ceremony 2021/2022 on Saturday, 13 November 2021.
Accompanied by Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si, the Rector visited two graduates’ representative houses in Katapang and Soreang, Bandung District, which is also his hometown. Both of them are graduates of Bachelor of Faculty of Law and Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP)
“This is our appreciation and deep longing to the graduates since the graduation are still carried out online,” said the Rector.
The Rector hoped that the pandemic would not prevent the graduates from continuing to work and become ones who are competitive, creative, adaptive, and able to provide solutions in the community.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law, Ajeng Putri Asri Ambarwaty, who had the opportunity to receive graduation attributes from the Rector, said she was happy and grateful for the appreciation given by the campus.
“I was shocked, and happy as well. I did not expect the Rector would come to our house to deliver the attributes. I, as representative of other graduates, would like to say thank you. We hope the knowledge we have obtained during our study would be useful for ourselves and the society,” she said.
Based on the data collected, it was recorded that there are more than 650 students who are going to attend the online Unpas graduation this year. Graduation attributes have all been delivered to each graduates’ address spread throughout Indonesia.
The Phase I Graduation Ceremony 2021/2022 will be held hybrid (online and offline) at the Hall of Mandala Saba Otto Iskandar Dinata, Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi No. 193, Bandung. (Reta)*
