BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Regarding the government regulation to expand Covid-19 Emergency State of Restriction Implementation on Community Activities (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat, PPKM) until July 25th, 2021, Rector of Universitas Pasundan Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU advised all staffs within Unpas to keep paying attention to their health and tighten up the health protocol.
Previously, Unpas has already implemented Working from Home (Bekerja dari Rumah, BDR) regulation since Bandung was confirmed being Alert I in 21 June – 2 July 2021. Along with the provision of Emergency State of PPKM, Unpas also extended the BDR regulation from 3 July-20 July 2021.
“The Emergency State is being expanded until July 25th, I would like to invite all teachers and other academic staffs in Unpas to keep paying attention on your health and its protocol. Thing we need to do include putting on our face mask when doing some works with each other, especially inside the room,” he explained on Wednesday, 21 July 2021.
In addition, the Rector also emphasized to consume healthy and nutritious foods. They do not have to be fancy, as long as they fulfill the nutrients the body needs. Food consumption should also certainly be balanced with light practice and not less important, bathing under the sun in the morning since it contains vitamin D,” he continued.
Quoted from alodokter website, vitamin D is necessarily needed to strengthen the immune system. An adequate Vitamin D supply is able to reduce risk of having Covid-19 exposure. It also can maintain bone health, thereby minimizing the occurrence of bone loss or osteoporosis.
“During Emergency State, we are advised not to often leave the house, except it is necessary or urgent. It is also better for us not to interact much or meet other people,” he continued.
If it is urgent, make sure we have already applied strict health protocol and make it as brief as possible.
“Let us keep trying our best and pray. We could not predict when the pandemic would be over. Hopefully, we could get stronger under the protection of Allah,” he concluded. (Reta)*
