BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) is one of the study programs/departments at Universitas Pasundan which has been established for so long. Currently, the faculty has three study programs, all of which have been accredited excellent, namely Management, Accounting and Economic Development.
These study programs are always full of interest, because apart from being prospective, students can also study two fields of science at once, namely social and exact. FEB is a popular faculty, so do not be surprised if its strictness and capacity are high.
However, for those new students who wants to study more about economy and business, this faculty could be the best choice. When graduated, students can not only think logically and analyze skillfully, but also be able to use time, resources, and other activities effectively and efficiently.

- Management
This study program has broad scope of different fields and is considered applicable in various fields. Although it is also associated with economic and business studies, Department of Management focuses more maintaining, planning and arranging company’s control, which consist of management policy, production management, marketing, administration, organization, business strategy and employment.
This study program is also divided into four study concentrations, namely Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management and Operation Management. These interests will support student’s position and career.
Up until now, graduates of this department is still highly needed in almost all sectors of both private and government agencies. Commonly, building the career in economic and financial sector is the main choice. However, there are lots of potentials which can be developed and improved, especially if the students are skillful in maintaining the organization and able to communicate effectively.
- Accounting
This study program is indeed included in social and humanities study, but it is also associated to numbers. So, new students will at least have their own strong and observant numeracy skills.
Department of Accounting learns and focuses more on recording methods and preparing financial reports that are useful for assisting stakeholders in the decision-making process.
New students will find such courses, like Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Report Analysis, Taxation, Auditing, Accounting Information Systems, Public Sector Accounting, and many more.
If it is used very carefully, graduates of this department will probably have opportunity to get a high-paid earning and qualified career position. World of business is also very open for graduates of this department. They can also get the position in startup business, consultant firm, or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
- Economic Development
This study program is part of Economic Studies which specifically studies more on development, both in business sector, finance, or banking. Students will also be associated to analysis of various economic issues to seek and find for solutions critically, creatively and innovatively.
New student who wants to study more on this study program should have their own tenacity and hard-work, because they do not only learn about fiscal and monetary policy, but also about economic principle application in real case. The department is also closely associated to numbers, curves and statistics.
Graduates of this department are prepared to be an economic development planner, especially to involve in improving and developing the country and contributing to make public welfare. (Reta Amaliyah S)*
