BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – This year, Universitas Pasundan targets on achieveing more funding for the 2022 Students’ Creativity Program (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa, PKM).
In the previous year, Unpas students only received one funding for the Exact Research PKM proposal scheme (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Riset Eksakta, PKMRE).
The proposal was made by an Environmental Engineering student, Fauzi Zaki Murtadho with the title Aplikasi Enzim Sampah untuk Memperbaiki Kualitas Air Sungai Tercemar Berat.
PKM is a form of implementation of University Tri Dharma launched by the Directorate General of Higher Education under the management of the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Ditjen Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan, Belmawa) to grow, accommodate, and realize students’ creative and innovative ideas.
“Unpas, through Student Affairs Bureau keeps encourage students and teacher to explore the existing potentials to be proposed and submitted in PKM selection,” explained the Head of Student Affairs Bureau, Hj. R. Iin Martina, SH.
The proposals passed through the passing grade will be funded by Belmawa. Topics of PKM are limitless; while the PKM itself will be prepared for increasing students’ achievement and IKU’s goal, accompanied by teachers’ supervision.
PKM helps students get a decent job after graduating, get an experience outside campus; while the result of their work can be used by the society.
PKM is also a place for student to grow their HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) creative thinking and critical thinking through the implementation of University Tri Dharma.
Although having the students as the main role, the collaboration between students and supervisory teachers has the important part on the process of arranging the proposal.
Supervisory teacher has to give motivation and lead students’ creative ideas so the ideas -themselves can be well-written in a from of proper proposal.
“We remind students to take participation and register themselves through https://bit.ly/PKMUNPAS2022. The document uploads can be done by students after the registration process (31 March 2022),” she concluded. (Reta)*
