BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Towards the end of 2021-2022 management period, Unpas Students’ Association for Cooperative (Unit Kegiatan Koperasi Mahasiswa, UKM Kopma) held the 38th Annual Member Meeting (Rapat Anggota Tahunan, RAT) at Wisma Grha Yuddha Ksatriya, Bandung, in 5-6 March 2022.
In this RAT, Unpas Kopma raised the theme “Satukan Visi, Ciptakan Aksi untuk Koma yang Bersinergi”. RAT is the highest forum as the responsibility of management, supervisors and members, as well as a forum for setting the next period’s policies.
Unpas Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU along with Vice Rector III for Student Affairs Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Sc attended the event and open the meeting officially.
This event was also attended by Section Head of Organizational Management, Protection and Counselling of Bandung Office for KUMKM, Erna Abdillah, in the online room.
Rector also said that holding the RAT is written in Constitution Law No. 17/2012 concerning Cooperatives. He appreciated the event because it had complied with the rules of the law mandated RAT to be held every year.
“Kopma Unpas is a startup and business education laboratory. This is in line with Unpas’ vision of becoming an entrepreneurial university in 2037,” he said.
He was also optimistic that Unpas Kopma could be a student’s business incubator which puts forward cooperative principles. He invited members of Unpas Kopma to continue to be active and develop their potential.
Reflecting on the cooperative system abroad which has become more advanced and modern, the Rector hopes that Unpas Kopma can adopt this way of working. Therefore, he believes that technology can change quality and make cooperatives equal with corporations.
“We are now in the era of Internet of Things (IoT), where every thing can be assisted by technology. We can take this as opportunity to improve our entrepreneurial spirit, let us grow together and enjoy the process,” he advised.
Meanwhile, Unpas Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si also agreed and appreciated of what has been said by the Rector. The use of technology will encourage Unpas Kopma to be better, so that it does not only rely on capital turnover from conventional business fields.
“Covid-19 pandemic has significantly given effect to Unpas Kopma activities; therefore, I wish there could be a business transformation and online-based service empowerment to make it remain running smoothly,” he said.

Ketua Umum Kopma Unpas Periode 2021-2022 Mudita Wibowo mengatakan, pada agenda RAT akan ada pemilihan ketua baru dan dewan pengawas untuk periode selanjutnya, sekaligus pembahasan AD-ART.
Ia mengaku masih ada beberapa aspek yang perlu dievaluasi, terutama penjualan dan pengelolaan toko selama pandemi. Kendati demikian, selama satu tahun terdapat kenaikan 20-30 persen dari pendapatan di toko dan penjualan online.
“Di masa pandemi, kita beralih ke sektor online dan mencari inovasi lain, seperti membuat kartu vaksin, buket, hingga katering. Itu yang membantu mendongkrak pendapatan sampai 100 persen,” ungkapnya.

Kopma Unpas juga sempat mendapat penawaran untuk bekerja sama dengan penyedia aplikasi yang memungkinkan mahasiswa menjual produk bisnisnya secara online, namun masih dipelajari lebih lanjut.
“Mudah-mudahan Kopma Unpas bisa membuka bidang usaha lagi, tentunya dengan memaksimalkan teknologi. Setelah setahuh kemarin kita terpuruk, kita fondasi ulang dan terus diperkuat ke depannya,” tukasnya. (Reta)*
