BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Entering the even-semester of 2021/2022 Academic Year which starts in 7 February 2022, Universitas Pasundan set the Limited Face-to-face Learning (Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas, PTMT) method.
The implementation of PTMT is entirely handed to each faculty, but it is prioritized for students who are currently in their second-and-fourth semester who live around Bandung. However, students are required to enclose their parent’s approval letter, have already been vaccinated for the second-dose, as well as commit to obey both health protocol and regulations which have been arranged previously.
Students who do not get their parents’ approval or come from outside Bandung can attend the course online. Each faculty is required to arrange technical guidelines in implementing PTMT both for teachers and students.
Regarding facilities and infrastructure during PTMT, each faculty will provide facilities for washing hands, hand sanitizer, thermo-gun and disinfectant to sterilize the classroom both before and after the class.
Since it is still hybrid, the classroom is also equipped with web cam, wireless microphone and LCD monitor to support the learning process for students who attend online.
In Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), PTMT starts from Monday, 7 February 2022. Each class will only cover 50% of maximum capacity of students’ total number.
“Students who are allowed to attend in the class is 25 persons maximum. In each class, students will be divided into two groups which will later attend the class in turn. It is set by PPTIK,” said the Dean of Unpas FEB, Dr. H. Atang Hermawan, SE., MSIE., Ak at the Technical Guidelines of FEB PTMT.
In implementation of PTMT, Unpas FEB keeps taking health as priority. If any case of Covid-19 is found within Unpas FEB or there is a level-status increase in Bandung, PTMT will be stopped immediately and evaluated along with Covid-19 Task Force.
In Faculty of Engineering, PTMT is held by using shift system and divided into three sessions: including Session I Course Class and Mid-semester Test (7 February-9 April) Session II-A Course Class (11 April-27 April 2022), Session III-B Course Class and Final Test (12 April-25 June 2022).
“Course class has not been entirely offline, therefore, students’ coming to campus is divided into three sessions. This is to implement the guideline smoother and more efficient, as well as to minimize the transmission of Covid-19,” said the Dean of Unpas Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ir. Yusman Taufik, MP in the Circular Letter II Regarding PTMT for Even-semester 2021/2022.
Meanwhile, in Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP), PTMT is only aimed for courses which have already been agreed by each head of departments. It will start in the second week of even-semester.
“PTMT will be re-viewed after four class meetings. In one day, PTMT only allows to take 2 course subjects,” said the Dean of Unpas FKIP, Dr. H. Uus Toharudin, M.Pd, in the Announcement Letter regarding Courses for Even-semester 2021-2022.
Other faculties, such as Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Arts and Literature, as well as Faculty of Medicine also set a regulation for PTMT, both for course class, practice/laboratory activity, final project/assignment and others. (Reta)*
