BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Getting into the last 10 days of Ramadhan, Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Universitas Pasundan holds tausiah and breaking the fast together at the Hall of Suradireja, Unpas Campus I, Jalan Lengkong No. 68, on Monday, 25 April 2022.
Breaking the fast together is a routine agenda of Unpas Faculty of Social and Political Science held to strengthen the silaturahmi and the brotherhood both between teachers and academic staffs. In this program, Unpas FISIP also delivers fund assistance to the orphans.
Dean of Unpas FISIP, Dr. M. Budiana, S.IP., M.Si stated that the religious lecture in Ramadhan will encourage the spirit to do self-introspection.
The spirit of Ramadhan should be instilled within our daily life, therefore positive things like doing prayer or good deeds could be our repetitive habit.
In his speech, he also emphasized to all teachers to develop their performance, especially those which are related to the rise of functional job position.
“Considering that there will be institutional reaccreditation soon, the functional job position of a teacher is an important instrument. Functional positions motivate teacher to improve careers, learning quality, and student services,” he said.
In addition, the functional position of a teacher is an acknowledgment, appreciation, trust in competence, integrity, and responsibility in carrying out the duties of University Tri Dharma
The activity continued with the presentation of the study by KH. Drs. Dudi Muttaqien, M.Pd.I. He explained about the key to happiness in the household, the blessings of friendship, and the virtues of alms.
“The key of happiness is being patient, grateful and sticking tightly to the Koran and hadith. Present love and intend ourselves solely to worship Allah SWT,” he said.
At the end of Ramadan, he invited teachers and academic staff of FISIP Unpas to be more active in worship and charity. “Improve good deeds, do not forget zakat, infaq, and alms. Hopefully this Ramadan will be the best for us,” he said. (Reta)*
