BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan holds a research result as the series of MBKM Research Program and Community Service based on research result of private university at The Jayakarta Suite Hotel and Resort, Bandung, on Monday, 27 December 2021.
This event was attended by Unpas academic community in order to discuss the development and findings obtained by each team, both research and community service team.
The program is in the form of scheme for fund-assisted research and community service aimed to support and reach the 7th Key Performance Indicator (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU), which is a collaborative and participative learning process.
Unpas Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, SE., M.Si stated that the seminar presented a suggestion and description from Kemendikbudristek about the implementation of MBKM regulation in the level of universities’ units.
“Each team of community service should present their program implementation result. It was then followed by parallel session related to the implementation of MBKM regulation along with the other 25 study programs which are divided into 3 classes,” he explained.
Through this event, all teams can receive suggestions to make their research and community service program perfect. Therefore, it could also improve both quality and quantity of the fund (for research and community service) in carrying out University Tri Dharma.
He also stated that the seminar held on that day was only a preliminary research or snapshot of MBKM regulation implementation; since the final report which was originally scheduled for 30 December 2021 has been extended to March 31, 2022.
In addition, the research-result-based community service consisted of three titles. First is ‘Pengolahan Sampah Organik di Pasar Puri Cipageran Indah dengan Sistem Biokonversi Menggunakan Black Soldier Flies (BSF)’. The second one is ‘Pengembangan Kewirausahaan dan Daya Saing Usaha Bandeng-Isi Kelurahan Cijerah, Kecamatan Bandung Kulon, Kota Bandung’. The last one is ‘Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Petani Black Mulberry di Tengah Kondisi Covid-19 di Wilayah Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung’.
“The survey conveyed before need to be still continued, but in January 2022, there will be additional variable of IKU (of 8). Now, there are more academic activities; it will also be added by the other non-academic learning activities,” he continued.
The extension of the reporting time is expected to improve research performance and community service as well as improve instruments so that the results achieved are better.
“There will be also addendum to the survey, since it was only contained the 7th IKU previously. The national seminars as collaboration with other partners, namely Universitas Islam Riau, Universitas Asahan and Universitas Medan Area are also postponed to January 2022. Its report will be around the end of March 2022,” he concluded. (Reta)*
