BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Referred to the Circular Letter of Kemendikbudristek No. 4/2021 concerning Implementation of Face-to-Face Learning Process 2021/2022 Academic Year, few universities prepare for limited face-to-face learning process.
Universitas Pasundan is also preparing the learning process by still strictly paying attention to health protocol and combining the method of learning process (hybrid). This learning process are planned to be carried out in 15 October 2021.
On the opening program of 2021 Virtual Campus Introduction (PKKMB), Unpas Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU stated about few activities included in this limited face-to-face learning process.
“The Trial Session (lit. siding akhir) of Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Program are all offline, unless the person concerned asks online, we will continue to serve. Studio and laboratory activities are allowed with a capacity of 50 percent, preferably for students who are working on their final project,” he explained.
Girl’s Dormitory Hj. Fatimah located in Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi No. 193, Bandung will also be re-opened, but only 50%. Meanwhile, canteen is not allowed to operate yet, since it might be creating new cluster of Covid-19 case.
“Canteen is usually the centre of students’ spot for hanging out, so it is not allowed to open yet. We hope we might be able to see good update in Covid-19 case in December 2021 and its status would become level 1,” he continued.
The Rector also continued and hoped that the regulation of this limited face-to-face learning process would not create new cluster of Covid-19. Students coming to campus should have been vaccinated and required to obey the health protocol.
“We keep evaluating the infrastructure, such as thermogun, seats arrangement and many more,” he added.
This limited face-to-face learning process program is in line with the pandemic adjustment which requires people to face the new normal era. To support the implementation, Unpas has prepared its Medical Team to optimize its health clinic service in each campus.
“As for the other activities, we still consider and adjust it to the improvement or decline of each area’s level. We hope that Covid-19 pandemic would end soon and switch to endemic,” he concluded. (Reta)*
