BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – In order to carry out the implementation of teacher’s career service, it needs a perception equality and competence test for assessors and the candidates for Teacher’s Work/Performance Load (Beban Kerja Dosen, BKD).
In accordance to that, Universitas Pasundan was appointed by LLDIKTI Region IV to be the organizer of Perception Equality and Competence Test for Assessor and Candidates for Assessor for BKD in University within LLDIKTI Region IV online, on Wednesday-Thursday, 30-31 March 2022.
In his speech, Unpas Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp., M.Si., M.Kom., IPU said that the program has been well-packed by the collaboration beteween Unpas Centre for Instruction Activity Development and Improvement (Pusat Pengembangan dan Peningkatan Aktivitas Instruksional, P3AI) and LLDIKTI Region IV.
According to him, perception equality and assessor competence test is really important to carry out. BKD assessors should understand how to assess and evaluate based on BKD operational guidelines. Its report should be carried out routinely, for about each semester. However, today, the number of BKD assessor is still limited and its distribution is not adequate to the existing departments/ study programs.
“BKD assessors will assist fellow teachers in giving approval to the BKD report. Materials for previous assessors and candidate of assessors will be updated, so that more and more assessors could pass the selection and the BKD assessment can run better,” he said.
Head of LLDIKTI Region IV Dr. M. Samsuri, S.Pd., M.T., revealed that the perception equalization and competency tests for assessors and candidate of BKD assessors will support the careers and welfare of lecturers in the future.
The current program, as he stated, was the second batch. In the first batch, about 381 of 600 participants have passed the selection. He wished that the percentage of participants who passed the selection in the second batch could increase.
“We are still waiting for the official statement, attached by Assessor Registration Number (Nomor Induk Registrasi Asesor, NIRA) of BKD, from Kemendikbudristek. In the second batch, LLDIKTI Region IV again invited 600 participants with a target of passing 100 percent or at least 90 percent,” he hoped.
The program presented keynote speakers from Directorate of Resources of Kemendikbudristek, Santi Sayanti Agustina (Sub-Coordinator of Educator’s Career Region II), Prof. Dwi Suhartanto, Ph.D (BKD Team) and Rizky Tito Prasetyo (Team of BKD Sister).
In addition to presentation about BKD policies, participants also received a matrix presentation of BKD operational guidelines in 2021 and BKD rubric. At the end of the session, participants will take a competency test and a skills test guided by a team from the Directorate of Resources of Kemendikbudristek. (Reta)*
