BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – A higher education, often called university, is an educational level after ones taking/graduated from middle/senior high school. It is also one of choices for students graduated from SMA/SMK/MA (or equal) to continue their study.
Besides being a place for studying, a university also has roles to produced qualified generation who is able to bring changes and advancement in the future.
As form of participation as well as facility to introduce campus’ life to help students find out their favourite university. Universitas Pasundan supports the 2022 Career Day held by SMAN 19 Bandung, on Thursday, 24 February 2022.
The event entitled “Meraih Pendidikan Lanjutan untuk Masa Depan Gemilang” is an education and career exhibition, with the purposed of socializing, introducing, as well connecting students to find their favourite university, especially in Bandung.
Sub-section Head of Unpas Public Relations, Adeng Djuanda, S.Pd said that the 2022 Career Day is an event to introduce and promote Unpas, both to the students and wider community themselves.
He also explained that the socialization program was still held online due to Covid-19 pandemic. “Unpas has been routinely and actively participating similar events/activities, certainly for introducing potentials and achievements owned by Unpas,” he explained.
“We also promote and inform about the departments, facilities, scholarships, achievements, campus’ life, as well as student associations which can support student’s productivity,” he continued.
To show a more interactive Gen-Z atmosphere, Unpas works along with two Campus Ambassadors, Priesta Ghea Audwiyanty (FISIP) and Alif Putra Utama (FH), and make them speakers to present Unpas in front of more than 450 students attending in Zoom Meeting.
“For 12th-grade student, this event is very useful, because they can obtain early basic information about higher education, especially Unpas. Even more, today, New Student Registration (Pendaftaran Mahasiswa Baru, PMB) Unpas can be accessed online on the website pmb.unpas.ac.id. Its update will also be informed in the social media account, to make it much easier,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Priesta Ghea revelead that students’ enthusiasm is quite high; they also actively ask about Unpas and campus’ life.
“Most of participants actively ask about campus’ life and information about Unpas. We hope this event could be the connector for them to choose Unpas,” she concluded. (RicoB)*
