BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan welcomes the virtual visitation at the event of Competition Program of Kampus Merdeka (Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka, PKKM) at the Hall of Mandala Saba Otto Iskandardinata, Unpas Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi, Bandung, on Tuesday (April 27th, 2021). Few study programs, namely Department of Accounting, Food Technology and Education of Elementary School Teacher, have been confirmend to have passed the proposal selection.
On that occasion, reviewer teams from Ministry of Education and Culture, namely Prof. Sri Hartati D. Reksodiputro Suradijono, Ph.D., Enny Ratnaningsih, Ph.D., and Levita Ginting Supit, SH., MH. The event is also attended by university leaders, deans and vice deans (of Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Teaching and Education), Head and Secretary of each related study programs, task force team of Unpas PKKM grant fund and other representatives teacher and students of each study programs.
The agenda is started by the meeting between reviewer and university leaders. On that occasion, Unpas Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp., M.Si., M.Kom., IPU conveyed about the implementation commitment of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, its relevance to Unpas’ excellence, its transformation and efforts, selection process of the proposed study programs and the future outlook.
“The implementation of MBKM program is started from the collaboration with other universities. As part of international involvement in academic, Unpas always participates in activities that support the MBKM curriculum,” he said.
To make the transformation come true and reach the program, Unpas also look forward to the digital development and literacy in order to create a competitive graduate. It is also supported by the adaptive curriculum, infrastructure and superstructure in Unpas.
“To make it more focused, the way to make it happen is by strengthening the human resources, supporting the teacher to write a journal article funded by the institution, and training 47 private universities as well. The point is, we give our stimulant for the teachers to change and adapt themselves,” he added.
In setting the proposed study programs in the PKKM, Unpas undergoes the internal selection and collaborates with the Internal Control Unit (Satuan Pengawasan Internal, SPI) and Quality Assurance Unit (Satuan Penjamin Mutu. SPM). The Rector also appoints few Persons-in-charge in each study programs to arrange featured program and obtain 8 Main Performance Indicators (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU).
“Before getting into the selection, we refer to the SPI and SPM by observing the track record of each study programs. Also, we focus on the report of PDPT and monitor the MBKM evaluation,” he explainded.
The Rector also assured that every staff involved in the program has all understood the using of PKKM fund. If Unpas earns the grant fund from PKKM, the department need to use it carefully based on the priority.
“We hold to the principle, that we should keep moving. Our team has solid relation and high commitment. We need to make it [the program] happen,” he continued.
The event will be continued by the meeting between the task force of each study programs, non-task force teacher, university partner, student, reviewer internal meeting and wrap-up meeting. (Reta Amaliyah S)*
