BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – In order to stabilize the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan (Rencana Strategis, Renstra), Unpas Postgraduate Program held a Work Meeting (Rapat Kerja, Raker) at Novotel Suites Malioboro, Yogyakarta, 17-19 January 2022.
The meeting, entitled “Transformasi Semangat Kewirausahaan” was attended by the Rector and Vice Rectors, Postgraduate Director and Vice Directors, Head of Department of both Master and Doctoral Program, as well as academic staffs within Unpas Postgraduate Program.
Head of Committee as well as Vice Director I of Unpas Postgraduate Program, Prof. Dr. Bambang Heru Purwanto, M.Si., stated that all documents related to Renstra, Annual Work Plan, Academic Guidelines and Standard of Operational Procedure (SOP) have been carried out approximately 3-4 months before the event takes place.
“In Yogyakarta, there has only a validation process left, because we already have done them [the documents needed] for long time. So, now, we are going to hand them over; from the university leaders to us, to carry on,” he said.
Renstra which has been arranged might have been revised since the process itself is still waiting for university-version Renstra to be finished and issued.
“If there is a revision, we will adjust them to the university-version Renstra as the basic. The thing is, we are ready for the materials,” he said.
Prof. Bambang also said that the meeting has created few guidelines, namely Renstra guidelines, RKT, academic and SOP which will be valid for four years (2022-2026). These guidelines will be used for accreditation process and others.
In addition, there are few differences identified from previous Renstra and are then added to this year’s Renstra, such as academic system, employment system, community service and others.
According to Unpas vision which has just been initiated, that is to ‘Actualize the Entrepreneurial University which Unpholds Sundanese and Islamic Value in 2037’, the work program will be emphasized on to carrying out entrepreneurship.
“[The] Renstra we have just arranged is also on that purpose [entrepreneurship]. We were given a task to transfer the spirit of entrepreneurship to students, in order to realize their independence and courage. If you want only to graduate but do not dare to make a decision, it is useless,” he confirmed.
With this meeting, Prof. Bambang expect that the performance and teamwork could be more solid, to improve the quality of Unpas Postgraduate Program.
“I hope, in the future we could become a solid super team; guidelines we have been compiling and working on this far could be used as reference for moving forward,” he concluded. (Reta)*
