Pasundan University (Unpas) established on 14 November 1960, founded by the Society of Pasundan (1913). At the age of 50 years before, Unpas has grown and developed intoa leading university and community pride, as evidenced by the number of students who arecurrently the largest in Region IV Kopertis environment and Jabar Banten.
Unpas students not only come from 33 Provinces in Indonesia, but also from foreign students friendly countries such as Thailand, Turkey, Malaysia, Sinapura, Republic ofSomalia, South Korea, East Timor, Poland, Hungary and South Africa. Until nowPasundan University has 6 faculty, 26 S1 Studies Program, 5 and 2 Program of Graduate Studies Doctoral Program.
Number of Students which is a form of trust of the community. This is evident from thesurvey of 2005 Tempo magazine and Kompas 2006 University of Pasundan included in the 3 major universities in Bandung.
Later in the year 2007 SWA magazine did a survey and stated that the UniversityPasunadn into the best universities accredited four-Java as well as 25 universities play asJava.
Academic activities carried out by experienced lecturers consisting of 32 personsremained Professors, lecturers with PhD qualifications and Masters as many as 85 people and as many as 254 people 8 people Foreign Lecturers from South Korea andChina. In 2009 UNPAS be one of three private universities in Indonesia who received a grant for promotion of higher education through QS Star International level.
