BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – After being postponed for 2 years due to Covid-19 pandemic, Pasanggiri Duta Kampus Universitas Pasundan will be finally held again.
On this weekend, the 4th-generation participant of Pasanggiri Duta Kampus will take the Selection 1 and Selection 2. All faculties have already held the selection for Duta Kampus and send their delegations to compete at the 2022 Unpas Grand Final Pasanggiri Duta Kampus.
Head of the Committee of 2022 Pasanggiri Duta Kampus Muhammad Ihsan Apriyadi Dwi Putra said that there are 73 participants consisting of 26 men and 47 women.
In the Selection I, participants will take a written test regarding general knowledge, about Unpas, Paguyuban Pasundan and Sundanese insight/understanding.
“Participants are also required to take interview test with similar topic, but it will be more focused on daily life’s implementation,” he said on Wednesday, 13 July 2022.
In addition, participants will also be prepared by materials about public speaking, beauty class, campus’ ambassador main duties and social media. They need to be given few understandings about the way to maintain/manage social media and tips to create good contents to support the promotion activities.
“In Selection I, participants will be selected to be 50; while in Selection 2, it will be re-selected to be 30,” Ihsan added.
Update of Selection System
This year, participants are required to upload an introduction video and Unpas’ overview video to observe their public speaking skill posted on each social media.
“To deepen the knowledge about campus, there will also be a Campus Tour agenda before the Grand Final. When the tour is taking place, each participant should make a video to promote the campus,” he said.
Besides skill and public speaking, participants are preferred to be able to speak English and Sundanese.
“Duta Kampus have an important role to help with branding and promotion. The plan is that they will be directed to make an Edu Expo specifically for Unpas at schools, so they don’t rely on the Edu Expo with other universities,” he added.
The Grand Final of Pasanggiri Duta Kampus Unpas is scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2022. Selected Campus Ambassadors and other finalists will be assigned after the inauguration and handover of positions with the 3rd batch of Campus Ambassadors.
“There are 4 categories of winners, namely 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and favourite winner. Later the Rector and Head of Unpas Housewives Association (Ikatan Istri Keluarga Unpas, IIKY) and West Java Mojang Jajakan will be judges,” he explained. (Reta)**
