Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business UNPAS, Dr. H. Atang Hermawan, MSIE., Ak, representing Rector of UNPAS, was invited to attend the opening of office of Korean Foundation at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jakarta, in December 23rd, 2019. This was the second office of Korean Foundation to open after also being officially opened in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The Dean himself discussed with South Korean Ambassador for Indonesia, Kim Chang-beom, President of Korean Foundation, Dr. Geun Lee, Director of Korean Foundation in Jakarta and several South Korean diplomat.
UNPAS, Faculty of Economics and Business in particular, has both been establishing cooperation with Korean Foundation for about 2 years and holding E-Learning program (distance learning) altogether Kyunghee University, Seoul. Faculty of Economics and Business itself has opened International Class and brought out graduates in the last three years. The teachers sent their course material online from Kyunghee, while they also spoke English as they studied. In the end of the courses, teachers from Kyunghee visited the class itself.
This cooperation between Faculty of Economics and Business and Korean Foundation has also been bringing another programs by the establishment of Korean Foundation Center in Faculty of Economics and Business, UNPAS. ***
