BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – In order to optimally implement University Tri Dharma, Universitas Pasundan along with other faculties and institutions in the university joins collaboration (MoU) with Universitas Kuningan (Uniku).
The MoU was directly signed by Unpas Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU and Uniku Rector Dr. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si at Rector’s Meeting Room, Unpas Campus II, Jln. Tamansari No. 6-8 Bandung, on Wednesday, 25 May 2022.
The Rector said that the collaboration is the continuation program or previous collaboration.
“This is the actualization of collaboration. We need to synergize by taking advantage of our best potentials. Besides, right now, we already have recognized resource sharing program whose one of them is actualized by taking collaboration,” he said.
He also emphasized that after having signed the MoU, both parties expected it to have common goals and purposes in order to get the 8 Indicators of Key Performance (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU).
“Do, please, share as many as information sources to get the IKU, because it becomes gentle agreement which needs to be carried out by every university,” he continued.
Other than inter-institutional collaboration, few faculties also signed the MoU, including Unpas-Uniku Magister Program, Unpas-Uniku Faculty of Law, Unpas Faculty of Engineering-Uniku Faculty of Forestry, Unpas Faculty of Engineering-Uniku Faculty of Computer, Unpas-Uniku Faculty of Economics and Business, Unpas-Uniku Faculty of Teaching and Education and Unpas-Uniku Institution for Community Service.
Rector of Uniku Dr. Dikdik Harjadi, S.E., M.Si stated that the collaboration becomes the pride for Uniku.
“We are honoured to having partnership with Unpas, one of ‘mature’ universities in the term of age. We have to work harder considering the regulations set by the government are beyond our imagination and extraordinary; therefore, we try to follow it up by carrying out the acceleration program along with other universities,” he explained.
He hoped that the collaboration would be very useful and create various actual programs, especially in the context of MBKM.
“There are a lot of things we can learn from Unpas, both in term of research, community service program, and publication as well. Unpas has a lot of reputable accredited journals. We hope they could inspire our [Uniku] academic civitas to do it [carrying out journal accreditation] as well,” he concluded.
