BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – In the midst of being busy being a housewife, Selvi Mayasari, an alumnus of Universitas Pasundan, does not necessarily put her education aside.
At the 2021/2022 Batch II Graduation Ceremony held on Satuday, 28 May 2022, Selvi managed to hold the title of Best Graduate with a perfect GPA of 4.00.
Selvi is an alumnus of the Communication Studies program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP). Even though she decided to get married at such young age, Selvi still finished her studies on time.
This 2018 alumnus even underwent a final assignment session when she was pregnant with her first child.
“Being the best graduate is an honour for me. Thank you to my family and husband who have supported me,” she said, on Tuesday, 31 May 2022.
She thought getting married and carrying out the household are not the obstacles: as long as you are committed to completing your studies well.
She dismissed the notion that getting married would hinder his college years. “Marriage is not an obstacle. If we are responsible, the lectures will certainly run smoothly and finish as expected,” he said.
For Selvi, getting a Summa Cum Laude of GPA is only an implication for the efforts that have been made. She said the most important thing was the learning process and its actualization in the community.
“You must firmly hold on to the commitment to undergo lectures and complete the assignment,” she concluded. (Reta)**
