BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – After being inactive for couple of years, Bogor Students’ Consolidation (Konsolidasi Mahasiswa Bogor, KMB) Universitas Pasundan inaugurate administrator for 2022-2023 at the Hall of Suradireja, Unpas Campus I, Jln. Lengkong Besar No. 68, Bandung, on 25 June 2022.
This event was attended and supported by Unpas FISIP Vice Dean III H. R. Sumardhini, M.Si., local organizations in Bandung, Unpas KMB Honorary Council, few representatives from Faculty’s BEM and internal/external invitees.
General Chairman of Unpas KMB for 2022-2023 Prabu Reksa Dewo stated that he along with other administrative staffs are ready to build the student’s organization from Bogor who are able to promote the name of campus and contribute for local development.
Students have strategic position in establishing the local development mechanism and community enrichment locally.
Local student’s organization, like Unpas KMB, plays important part in connecting and transforming creative ideas in their own areas.
“The comeback of our fighting spirit started from the urge to build generation and learning through local organization, while still producing qualified prospective members,” he said.
According to Prabu, Unpas KMB is really important to provide Bogor students who are studying in Unpas a place for working, elaborating and exploring new things.
Unpas KMB becomes the place/forum to keep local culture values not to be faded in the midst of modernization and cultural heterogeneity in campus.
“KMB Unpas can be a place to exchange stories while doing rantau (lit. travelling to another areas), as well as help out when there are problems,” he continued.
With the inauguration of the new management, Unpas KMB will be more active, so that it can benefit its members in producing the best candidates for leaders for the City/Regency of Bogor.
“KMB Unpas is not just a brother, but a family. I will instil a family spirit in all the management for the 2022-2023 period in order to strengthen the internal foundation of the Unpas KMB,” he said. (Reta)**
