
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Universitas Pasundan undergoes comparative study with two well-known universities in Malang, namely FISIP Universitas Brawijaya and FISIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, on 12-15 July 2022.
Unpas group was directly led by Dean of Unpas FISIP Dr. M. Budiana, M.Si, accompanied by Unpas Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si, Unpas FISIP Vice Dean II Dra. Yulia Segarwati, M.Si, Secretary of Department of Communication Studies FISIP Vera Hermawan, M.I.Kom., and other teachers.
Besides having discussion, exchanging information and sharing experience about maintaining education system in each faculty, they also signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
The MoA will cover various programs in the future, both between FISIP Unpas-Universitas Brawijaya and FISIP Unpas-Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.
The collaboration will discuss and be related to the maintenance of Department of Communication Studies which is part of FISIP on the three institutions.
“As one of the biggest universities in West Java, Unpas must certainly get the wider and more comparative insight, better than the other universities. Even more, we should make a useful and advantageous collaboration,” said Dean of Unpas FISIP Dr. M. Budiana, M.Si.
This collaboration will be directed and focused on to education, research and community service (University Tri Dharma).
“The form of collaboration can be a student exchange, research project, community service, scientific publication, development of students’ organization and curriculum, as well as conference, training and seminar,” he continued.
The collaboration itself is also an attempt to implement MBKM curriculum whose agreement was signed for the next 5 years. Meanwhile, the comparative studies initiated by Unpas FISIP was highly welcomed, both by Dean of UB FISIP Dr. Sholih Mu’adi, M.Si., Head of Department of Communication Studies UB Diyah Ayu Amalia Avina, M.Si., and Dean of UMM FISIP Prof. Dr. Muslimin Machmud, M.Si.
“With the spirit of collaboration, let us actualize the spirit of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka,” he concluded. (Reta)**
