
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – To strengthen the implementation of MBKM program, Faculty of Arts and Literature (FISS) Universitas Pasundan joined collaboration with Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD) Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Surakarta, on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.
Apart from signing the MoA between Unpas FISS and Surakarta ISI FSRD, Implementation of Agreement (IA) was also taken between Departments of Visual Communication Design (DKV) of both faculties: Unpas FISS and Surakarta ISI FSRD.
Teams visiting from ISI Surakarta consisted of Vice Dean III of FSRD Ahmad Fajar Ariyanto, S.Sn., M.Sn., Vice Dean III of Faculty of Performance Arts Dr. Bondet Wrahatnala, M.Sn., Head of Department of DKV Asmoro Nurhadi Panindias, S.Sn., M.Sn., and their staffs..
On last September 2022, Department of DKV Unpas has already undergone the visit to ISI Surakarta to carry out and observe the collaboration and student exchange.
The visit discussed on the course plan which will be taught, academic system adjustment, and activity financing. Currently, there are two students of Unpas DKV attending the course at ISI Surakarta for one semester.
Dean of FISS Unpas Dr. Hj. Senny Suzanna Alwasilah, M.Pd warmly welcomed the visit of ISI Surakarta’s teams at Unpas and hoped than collaboration they have joined could strengthen the relationship between Unpas FISS and ISI Surakarta.
“There are a lot of things which can be carried out together, such as MBKM program, University Tri Dharma, as well as non-MBKM’s program. Later, we would want to hold a teacher’s exchange program; we would want to create the new vibes and experiences for teachers as well,” she said.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean III of FSRD ISI Surakarta Ahmad Fajar Ariyanto, S.Sn., M.Sn. said that apart from MBKM program and University Tri Dharma, his staffs would want to hold collaboration or partnership in other fields.
“We have all agreed about having our teachers and journal article exchanged. We hope the MoA between Unpas FISS and ISI Surakarta FSRD could be able to open opportunity to expand the collaboration, not only between departments in Unpas FISS, but also other faculties,” he said.
He added that through this collaboration, there would be cultural exchange which can be our joint discussion. “Unpas FISS should certainly have its own different perspective in studying arts, and so should we [ISI Surakarta],” he added.
Head of Department of DKV FSRD ISI Surakarta Asmoro Nurhadi Panindias, S.Sn., M.Sn. stated that students of Unpas FISS have obtained the course of Archipelago Cultural Insights (Wawasan Budaya Nusantara), as well as Pictograph Design (Desain Piktograf) and Corporate Identity (Identitas Korporat).
“I hope the exchange program will not be only held in this semester, but in next semester also; to maintain our relationship/partnership well. We hope we could send our students here, to Unpas FISS,” he concluded. (Reta)**
