
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – To support and succeed MBKM policy, Universitas Pasundan takes collaboration and signs the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Majalengka at the Hall of Mandala Saba Ir. H. Djuanda, on Friday, 23 September 2022.
The event was in line with the signing of Collaboration Agreement (Perjanjian Kerjasama, PKS) between 6 faculties and 3 institutions in Unpas with faculties and institutions in Universitas Majalengka.
The six faculties include Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Research Institution, Institution for Community Service (Lembaga Pengabdian Masyarakat, LPM) and Internal Quality Assurance Unit (Satuan Penjamin Mutu Internal, SPMI).
The signing of MoU and Collaboration Agreement was attended by Rector of Universitas Majalengka and his staffs, Rector of Unpas and his Vice Rectors, Deans of related faculties, Director of Postgraduate School, Head of LPM, Secretary of Research Institution and Head of SPMI as well.
Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU, said that the collaboration between Unpas and Universitas Majalengka has already been held for a long time and now, it is strengthened through this collaboration in succeeding MBKM Program.
“We greatly welcome this collaboration since MBKM has already been our concern and focus. Therefore, taking collaboration with other university, world of business/industry should be kept and maintained,” he said.
Taking Advantage of Resource Sharing Optimally
Unpas will take advantage of resource sharing to make both parties able to share experience and excellences which can be shared to each other. It is done by carrying out the principle of equality and commitment to move forward together.
“By this collaboration, Unpas and Universitas Majalengka is able to do student exchange program and fulfil the need of 8 Key Performance Indicators (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU),” Rector continued.
Rector of Universitas Majalengka Dr. Indra Adi Budiman, M.Pd said that taking collaboration with Unpas is a matter of pride for Universitas Majalengka itself.
“We would want to learn from Unpas, so we are able to follow what Unpas has done, as one of the well-known universities in West Java,” he said.
He hoped that the collaboration could create a follow-up program which is useful for both parties. (Reta)**
