BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Team and staff of Universitas Pasundan urges people to be more alerted and aware of the actions of individuals acting on behalf of the Unpas New Student Admissions (PMB) committee.
The method is, the person contacted the prospective new Unpas student via WhatsApp or direct message on social media by asking for some money and promising to pass the Unpas PMB.
The registration and selection process can only be done on the pmb.unpas.ac.id page. The results of the selection are announced on the registration website which can be accessed using an account when registering.
Details of fees that must be paid and administrative files that must be completed during re-registration are also listed in each account.
Unpas has never instructed to send registration fees or tuition funds to a personal account. Prospective students who have passed will receive an email from the Unpas PMB committee with a link containing the procedure for re-registration.
The official information related to Unpas PMB will only be sent to registration website, social media (Instagram and Twitter: univ_pasundan, Facebook: Universitas Pasundan), instition website www.unpas.ac.id, or Whatsapp Group ‘PMB Unpas’.
In each PMB program, Unpas Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, M.Si always reminds people to be more aware of this kind of scamming issues, both when registration and re-registration process.
Unpas PMB system is now technology-based, so the entire information, including registration process, payment method, etc., will be informed on Unpas official accounts.
“It is hard to avoid risks, but it can be reduced if we are careful and aware. After the prospective students are confirmed to pass the selection, there will be few regulations to be completed. Well, up to this time, there are many people claiming to be of help. Complete the administration without having to ask anyone for help, including insiders,” he concluded. (Reta)**
