BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – The Batch 2 Pekerti (Peningkatan Keterampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional) Training held by Universitas Pasundan on 6-11 September 2021 was officially closed online on Saturday, 11 September 2021.
The event consisted of the report announcement by Head of the Committee for Batch 2 Pekerti Training Dr. Cartono, S.Pd., M.Pd., M.T, conveying the impression represented by two participants both from the westernmost and easternmost parts of Indonesia, as well as announcing 14 best participants.
As it was reported before, participants of Unpas Batch 2 Pekerti Training were as much as 424, coming from universities around Indonesia. Pekerti training aimed to improve teachers’ professional competence in serving as functional position, especially their pedagogical skills.
“After having been through the preparation and undergoing the training which everyday was fulfilled by doing [home]works, physical and mental pressure, Allah SWT gave us opportunity to complete the training,” Cartono explained on his report.
The Batch 2 Pekerti Training becomes a connection for participants to obtain the professional certification. He wished that the material and supervisions provided by the instructor could be implemented in the university they served.
“I, representing the committee, facilitator, instructor and helpdesk staffs, apologize for everything, whether the training have not met the expectations of yours. We always try as much as possible to meet the standards. Hopefully, the efforts we’ve made are a form of devotion in front of God Almighty,” he said.
Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU also sent his gratitude to all participants who are willing to fulfil their presence list during the training.
“By the closing of Unpas Batch 2 Pekerti Training, the participants have already obtained three basic skills, namely planning the learning process, doing learning evaluation and implementing the learning process. I wisht, this findings/knowledge will continue to be developed in your own institutions,” he said.
Two participants were chosen to convey their impression said that they were enthusiastic to attend the training. Apart from receiving valuable materials, the committee was also considered responsive in helping direct the participants.
“We hope we could pass the training in a good way with high score. We are thankful to Unpas for giving us such opportunity to attend the Training. We hope we could implement the materials presented to the students,” explained Al Asri Abubakar, S.P., M.M from Universitas Jabal Ghafur Aceh.
A teacher of Economic Development Department of Universitas Papua, Johny Aninam also appreciated the implementation of Unpas Batch 2 Pekerti Training, especially to the instructor who have shared their valuable experiences and knowledge to the participants.
“We will use the knowledge we received to do Tri Dharma in order to create qualified graduates, competitive, competent and noble on behalf of the growth of Indonesia,” he confirmed.
The closing of Unpas Batch 2 Pekerti Training was ended by the speeches from Vice Chairman of Pasundan Foundation of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. H. Ali Anwar, M.Si representing its Head Dr. H. Makbul Mansyur, M.Si who were unable to attend it.
He confirmed that the success of this event should become one of the references to be able to be consistent in keeping, maintaining and redoing the next better training. He also reminded of how important for use to prepare ourselves to face the future, after having completed with one task.
“When implementing the purpose of national education, please remind to humanize the children of humans and form them as human beings who are faithful, pious and noble. I think the local wisdom, ‘digugu lan ditiru’ is very good. And for that, make new things obtained from the event much better,” he concluded. (Reta)*
