BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Rector of Universitas Pasundan accompanied by his Vice Rectors and Advisor of Unpas Wives’ Association (Ikatan Istri Keluarga Unpas, IIKU) holds a 62nd Unpas Anniversary a ceremony of gratefulness.
It was signed by the tumpeng and sending pray at Rector’s Building, Unpas Campus II, Jalan Tamansari No. 4-8, Bandung, on Monday, 14 November 2022.
Unpas 62nd Anniversary brought the theme “Meningkatkan Sinergitas untuk Unpas Unggul” with its slogan “Sinergitas U2U”. Last week, Unpas has already launched its 62nd Anniversary new logo interpreting about synergy and togetherness.
Synergy and spirit portrayed in the logo also marked the collaboration which keeps being carried out by Unpas for becoming an adaptive and flexible university, along with the current updates and development.
Unpas Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU. said that the theme was in line to the efforts of Unpas to obtain Excellent accreditation.
“The more mature and grown we are, the more homework we get. Although we had already A-ranked accreditation, which is closest to Excellent, we still need to obtain it,” he said.
Along with the occasion, Rector also gave appreciation to the performance of all departments which have already transformed and obtain their Excellent accreditation.
“To obtain the accreditation, Unpas should meet 9 instruments required through the process of conversion. It will certainly be difficult if it there were no synergy and togetherness between Unpas academic civitas,” he said.
Rector also added that the slogan ‘Sinergitas U2U” should be obtained to form an advanced mindset to obtain the Excellent predicate.
According to the Rector, synergy has the similar meaning to Sundanese philosophy sareundeuk saigel sabobot sapihanean, sabat sarimbagan.
“The lesson is, we need to work together, unite our goals, as well as focus on our vision, mission, and strategy to maintain Unpas excellent,” he explained.
This ceremony/commemoration of Unpas’ 62nd Anniversary was also held in all faculties, YPT Pasundan and Paguyuban Pasundan as well.
“I invite all Unpas academic civitas to maintain to organize themselves and actualize Unpas as excellent and competitive university, to make it able to face global competition,” he hoped. (Reta)**
