Dr. Janet K. Regner is the Director of Community Service in the Coconino in Arizona who first came to Indonesia. Once came to this country, she immediately delivered a public lecture at the University of Pasundan Bandung.
According to Dr. Janet, United States until now did not have a data base on poor people in the country so it is rather difficult for the handling of the poor there. The United States also does not have a clear constitutional policy in overcoming the poor, especially in the area of Coconino in the state of Arizona. This triggers the growth of social activists there, either on their own or in cooperation with other countries.
Coconino operating as a social institution, led by Dr. Janet, only has a population of 136 thousand inhabitants with an area of 18 618 square miles and is 7,000 feet above sea level.***(Humas Unpas, DB)
