It was important and needed for FEB to collaborate with IIKU because the organization is very reliable. Therefore, the various programs of IIKU should generally be in line to the vision and mission of the faculty.
The Dean also explained that the main duty of IIKU is to coordinate all staffs in strengthening solidarity, improving skills and knowledge, getting better relation with various parties, improving social concern, and holding a mental and spiritual training to help maintain the balance between body and soul, in order to be a person who is fearful of Allah, kind and noble.
- Atang Hermawan also conveyed that the effect of Covid-19 pandemic has widely spread to various aspects of life within societies, particularly in the aspect of family finance. The effects are clearly found when family’s basic needs are found to be limited, therefore they have been trying to hoard some basic needs or food at home. The price of daily necessities has gone up, while the ability to purchase them has also decreased. With this condition, debt also gets higher, while the investments/ savings/ deposits is also getting lower. The business turnover decreased a lot which also cause low income for the family themselves. While they are trying to fix the problem in the business, school and tuition fees also increase to support children education or learning process through the internet/ technology.
Head of IIKU FEB-UNPAS, Atty Tri Juniarti explained that the talk show has formed several things to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, including opening job opportunity, especially in a matter of information technology (such as selling/ providing communication facilities), health (creating face masks, traditional medicines, etc) and in the food sector (producing and selling basic needs, selling ready-to-eat meals, etc)
“Anyone is responsible in managing family finances (both wife and husband). Both of them are in charge of managing all types of expenses and forced to be creative and careful. This is because of the sustainability of household finances depend on how the financial manager manages the existing finances,” she said.***
