BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – After integrating both data of academic and non-academic through SITU 2.0, Universitas Pasundan is currently preparing to develop digitalization program for career study to simplify tracer study.

Unpas plans to work together with Kinobi Asia, a digital accelerator platform, which provides various programs of training to support students’ career.

Kinobi Asia is a Singaporean start-up business establishing on career development sector. Digitalization platform for career centre is needed to help students and fresh graduates be able to be more prepared getting into work field.

Later, this platform will allow students to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) optimally, practice on interview technique and build work skills.

Students can also use feature of career preparation software, such as resume and cover letter builder, interview tutorial, job opportunity platform which covers various industries, sub-sectors, regions, as well as hiring coaches (studying or sharing personally with people who successfully got into big companies).

Unpas Vice Rector III for Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si said that networking and tracer study are still the campus’ concerns. Even more, accreditation for department and institution require tracer study as one of the obligations that should be required. It is also form of campus’ responsibilities towards alumni.

“Developing on digitalization platform of career centre will be very helpful because we currently still have issues with tracer study. It has just few faculty which has tracer study centre. At other faculty, there is not main office for this, but the steps are currently being carried out optimally,” he said, on Monday, 5 September 2022.

The plan of working digitalization platform will be further developed, considering the fact that the report of tracer study should be connected with Kemendikbudristek and focused on few aspects, such as distribution connection, graduates and user survey.

“On one side, we need a sustainable step, but on the other side, we still need to be in line with Kemendikbudristek. Our academi system is already qualified; we hope it could be integrated with the platform owned by Kemendikbudristek,” he added.

Rector’s Office will further discuss the format needed along with staff leaders of the faculty, especially to help Vice Rector III in establishing supporting elements of transformation for tracer study and alumni.

“To obtain our goal to be global university, we should take part on civilization and learn to adopt on technology: one of which is by working on digitalization of career centre,” he concluded. (Reta)**
