BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Recently, Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Pasundan holds an event of the second of Workshop Belajar Mandiri (WBM) at the Hotel Intercontinental Dago Pakar, Bandung.
This event was held in attempt to change the mindset and provide solution for students in facing the development of technology and the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The workshop was divided into 6 topics, presented by different speakers: one of which is Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.
Unpas Dean of FEB Dr. H. Atang Hermawan, MSIE., Ak stated that the change of condition clearly has potential to arise another issue on the process; therefore, students need some kind of adjustments to it.
To handle the adjustment, currently, Unpas FEB has already implemented blended learning (a combination between online and offline learning) as its breakthrough.
“Independently studying can improve cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills, including to build the responsibility, solve problems, think critically and creatively, as well as, improve confidence,” he said.
Topics discussed on the workshop including the international learning habit, student’s financial governance/management, learning-and-teaching process, alumni perspective, digital mindset actualization on the learning process, ta’lim mutaalim method in the learning perspective, as well as the power of du’a: a divine approach in learning.
“This workshop is expected to support the role of institution in developing student’s independent learning process,” he added.
At the same time, Unpas FEB also signed the MoA with PT Hotel Dago Pakar and collaboration agreement (Perjanjian Kerja Sama, PKS) between Management Study Program and InterContinental Dago Pakar/InterContinental Hotels Group. (Reta)*
