In July 7th, 2020, Rector of Unpas, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf, Sp., M.Si became one of the speakers in the panel discussion entitled “Future Learning” which was also related to the recent issue of Covid-19 Pandemic in the event of GOVINSIDE Live Indonesia Meeting, held by International Event Organizer supported by AWS, VISA, Grab, LexisNews. Other panelists from Prasetya Mulya, BINUS, University of Indonesia and representatives of Ministry of Education and Culture also attended in this event which was hosted by Mrs. Cheryl Yung of Lee Kuan Yew University.
Prof. Eddy also confirmed that Covid-19 Pandemic has forced Unpas to transform few business process into an IT-based. After transforming the process into IT-based, academic field increased from 20% to 95%, while financial field increased from 30% to 75%.
Several awards were also given to the Deans and IT Teams for supporting the utility of Cloud Server so that the digital-based system could work properly in only 3 weeks. However, this transformation also resulted to an increased cost for server purchases, adjustment of the SW application feature and staff upgrading.
