
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesian Armed Forces School of Staff and Command (Sekolah Staf dan Komando, Sesko TNI) regarding University Tri Dharma on Wednesday, 2 February 2022.
The memorandum was directly signed by the Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp., M.Si., M.Kom., IPU and Commander of Sesko TNI Marshal Diyah Yudanardi, S.E., M.Sc in the Rector’s Meeting Room, 7th Floor, Unpas Campus II Jalan Tamansari, Bandung.
The scope of collaboration includes the implementation of education, research, community service and institutional development.
The MoU itself will later become a valid legal standard in the implementation of every joint activity, both operationally and conceptually, as a form of realizing the responsibility in efforts to empower human resources.
The Rector hoped that the collaboration taken between Unpas and Sesko TNI will strive to continue to the downstream progress.
“In line with the 8 Key Performance Indicator (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU) which needs to be achieved by university, Unpas keeps taking collaboration with other penta-helix elements. Hopefully, this achievement could create integration to help improve quality of human resources in both institutions,” he said.
The Commander also stated that Sesko TNI is the highest educational institution of TNI which aims to prepare a mid-position commissioned officer as cadres of TNI leaders on the strategic level who have morals, national insight and professionalism in the future.
Sesko TNI is forced academically to establish quality of human resources and educational institution to be able to provide their contribution for TNI, nation and the country itself.
“Regarding to this, Sesko TNI takes a more proactive movement through this collaboration to help build existing facilities, infrastructures and human resources,” he said.
Several activities which are able to be done is through the training and education, scientific research, seminar, workshop, community service, studies and consultation.
“I wish this collaboration could create similar perspective, coordination acceleration, as well as closeness between related officials and other elements on every level within Unpas and Sesko TNI,” he concluded. (Reta)*
