BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Final examination in Universitas Pasundan has already ended. Currently, few faculties open registration for short-term semester course for students who want to fix and improve their score.
For those who are not familiar yet, short-term semester courses are program held between the even and odd semester in every academic year. In other universities, this program is commonly called short semester.
The goal of the semester’s courses in each university is different, either for fixing the score or accelerating the study period. Short-term semester is carried out outside the regular course schedule, namely in the holiday with 4-6 weeks long, depend on the faculty regulation.
Unpas facilitates the students who are willing to retake the subject in order to fix and improve their score or GPA. The registration and requirement in taking short-term semester courses are determined by the faculty, but generally they are as followed:
- Requirement
To take the course in short-term semester, students must pay attention to these following requirements:
- Registered as active student in the 2020/2021 academic year and not registered as an 0-scored student
- Having paid the tuition fee for the 2020/2021 academic year
- Taking the similar course that have been taken before
- Total credits allowed to retake are 9
- Paying the fees for short-term semester (see the fees per courses set by the faculty).

Registration period can be viewed in the social media or announcement letter of each faculty.
- Students registering and taking the courses online on the academic website: SITU Academic.
- Before choosing the courses provided in the semester, be sure that you are already discussing the matter with the teacher responsible (lit. perwalian) for 2021 on the website SITU Academic.
- Paying the fees, according to the courses being taken through Bank Mandiri Virtual Account.
- Implementation
- Short-term semester courses for 2020/2021 Academic Year are carried out online through the e-Learning system of each faculty.
- Courses are carried out 2-3 times per week
- Courses will be held until August 2021
Before registering for the short-term semester courses, students are required to look at the provisions in the related faculty, because they may differ from one another. (Reta)*
