BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Graduate of Management Studies Doctoral Program Universitas Pasundan, Wentri Merdiani becomes the youngest Doctoral graduate on the Phase I Graduation Ceremony 2021/2022 held in Saturday, 13 November 2021.
Wentri completed her Doctoral study at the age of 30 after finishing her promotion trial last May 2021. She also becomes the best graduate of Management Studies Doctoral Program with the GPA of 3.70.
She finished her study in 3 years and 8 months with the dissertation entitled ‘Pengaruh Pemasaran Hubungan Pelanggan dan Citra Merek Terhadap Nilai Pelanggan dan Keunggulan Bersaing serta Implikasinya pada Loyalitas Pelanggan’.
Not only being able to finish the Doctoral Program, Wentri also took her Bachelor and Master Degree in Unpas. She obtained her Bachelor Degree from Management study program in 2015. In the same year, he continued her Master study in Management and successfully completed on time in 2017.
Wentri is currely a regular teacher in Commercial Administration Studies Department in Universitas Wanita Internasional Bandung. Few courses she has been teaching are Kewirausahaan (Entrepreneurship), Pengembangan SDM (Human Resource Development), Perilaku Organisasi (Organizational Behaviour), Komunikasi Bisnis (Business Communication), Kepemimpinan (Leadership) and others.
“I have become a teacher since 2018, few months after graduating from Master program,” she said, on Monday, 15 November 2021.
Other than being an academician, Wentri also run and manages a beauty business in the form of salon and home spa. In the midst of her busy life as a teacher and womenpreneur, Wentri tries to manage her time so that her research could be finished on time.
“While doing research, I have my dissertation written step by step. My research is based on a non-star hotel, one-star hotel and two-star hotel in Bandung Raya; by using data collection with interview, observation and literature study,” she continued.
Wentri admitted that she did not expect she would get the title of the youngest Doctoral graduate. In the near future, she wants to focus on improving her skill in optimizing her knowledge in management. This is the way she implements it as a graduate of Management studies, from Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree.
“It was excited studying in Unpas, even from Bachelor Degree to Doctoral Program. Unpas becomes every generation’s choice. My parents and younger bother also have their study in Unpas. Keep maintaining the service, may Unpas be still glorious and excellent,” she concluded. (Reta)*
