BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Commemorating the World Standard Day, National Standardization Agency (Badan Standardisasi Nasional, BSN) consistently holds the National Quality Month (Bulan Mutu Nasional, BMN).
One of the series of the opening of 2021 BMN is to get and obtain synergy with 13 universities in LLDIKTI Region IV written in the form of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Universitas Pasundan represented by Vice Rector III, Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si also signed the MoU, taking place at the Grand Ballroom of The Trans Luxury Hotel, on Wednesday, 3 November 2021.
“MoU consists of the implementation of University Tri Dharma, namely in the field of education, research and community service,” he said.
As for the details, the instruments of collaboration include the improvement of human resource quality, expert provision, seminar, workshop, as well as Training of Trainers (ToT) for teachers in the field of standardization and conformity assessment.
“In addition, it also includes the development and coaching of SNI implementation, research and dissemination of research result in standardization division and conformity assessment, as well as improvement of Unpas academician’s participations at that event,” he continued.
Unpas can also carry out the data and information exchange in standardization and conformity assessment according to the current existing regulation.
“The signing of MoU also consists of other activities which will be further discussed and negotiated by several parties,” he explained.
The context of MoU refers to the purpose of BMN implementation in strengthening the national competition through stabilization of quality infrastructure in standardization and conformity assessment.
BMN is an event for stakeholders to convey contributions, both those that have been and will be made in the field of standardization and conformity assessment. This year, BMN brings and holds the theme “SNI untuk Indonesia Tangguh dan Indonesia Tumbuh”. After taking MoU signing along with other universities, the event continued by national seminar of standardization.
The seminar presented expert speakers in their fields, namely Dr. Ir. Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin, MEM (Deputy of Digital Economic Coordination Division for KUKM Kemenko Perekonomian) and Dr. Achmad Idrus, M.M (Deputy of Capital Investment Service Division for Kementerian Investasi/BKPM).
The event was also attended by Dr. H. Dudi Sudrajat Abdurachim, M.T (Assistance of Administration III West Java Provincial Government), Dr. Dra. Zakiyah, MM (Deputy of BSN Standard Implementation and Conformity Assessment) and Mardani H. Maming (General Chairman of HIPMI). (Reta)*
