BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Phase III New Student Admission (Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru, PMB) Universitas Pasundan is officially opened on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. This phase becomes the last batch in the series of Unpas New Student Admission.
Phase III PMB takes time until August 14th, 2021, followed by the Selection Test, test announcement, and Campus Introductory for New Students (Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru, PKKMB) program.
Previously, Unpas has already held Phase I in January 4th – April 24th, 2021 and Phase II in April 26th – July 3rd, 2021.
Currently, Unpas takes the 10th-ranked as the best Private University in Indonesia according to UniRank version. Unpas is also ranked 90th of 100 as best University in Indonesia according to Webometrics.
Unpas has partnered up with more than 50 universities in foreign countries, such as China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines and other countries.
In the 2021/2022 academic year, Unpas has provided more than 5000 seats for new students with the proportion of 60:40, 60 percent for Regular Selection Test and 40 percent for Interest and Skill Tracking (Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan, PMDK).
“Alhamdulillah, for the past 8 years, we are able to handle the new student admission in a stable number. New students registering for Unpas is averagely 4000-5000 every year,” explained Unpas Vice Rector I as well as Head of New Student Admission Committee, Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, SE., M.Si, on Saturday (July 10th, 2021).
This number was based on the ratio of facilities and infrastructures, teachers and other academic staffs. Up until now, the number of active students listed on Unpas database is approximately 18.989 and teachers approximately 553.
Unpas has already achieved its accreditation ‘excellence’ and had complete departments. There are 26 departments of Bachelor program and 14 departments of Magister programs. Unpas is also given the responsibility by the government to implement the program of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)
