BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – This year, Department of Communication Studies and Business Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Universitas Pasundan will establish Surat Keterangan Pendamping Ijazah (SKPI).
It was stated during the event of MoA and Collaboration Agreement (PKS) signing with six stakeholders, namely Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Jabar, BPC Perhumas Bandung, Gema Nusa, Chlorine Digital Media, Bandung Kunafe, dan PT Soka Cipta Niaga, on Friday, 4 November 2022.
In the near future, Department of Communication Studies along with its partner will hold a workshop for the class-of-2019 students. Besides for testing and honing their skills, students will also obtain a certificate for supporting the SKPI.
The mandate of SKPI was written in Permendikbudristek No 59/2018. SKPI menjadi Diploma Supplement is to strengthen the proof of graduates’ academic outcomes, learning, and qualification, including additional competence obtained from MBKM program.
To make it simple, SKPI is a student’s track record during their study, as well as supporting documents of achievement and certificates written and listed in curriculum vitae (CV).
“Unpas FISIP wants to actualize the regulation soon; one of which is by expanding more collaborations. If we respond it fast, the faster we could get benefits from MBKM program and SKPI,” explained FISIP Vice Dean I, Dr. Kunkunrat, M.Si.
When graduating, students are not only prepared by diploma certificate and their grade transcript, but also extra-curricular or standardized activities certificate, both from BNSP or certified private institution.
SKIP help industries see the graduates’ competence in a more detailed, therefore it will make it much easier to implement the principle of the right man in the right place.
“Unpas FISIP attempts to place its students in a suitable position which is in line with the government. Therefore, students could really become proper and ready-to-be-hired generation to contribute to where they work for,” he continued. (Reta)**
