
BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Rector of Universitas Pasundan Prof, Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU. encourages academic civitas of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) to helf actualize and obtain excellent-accredited rank for the institution.
It was stated by the Rector on the Achievement Incubator Program (AIP) Training for regular teachers and academic staffs held at the Hall of Mandala Saba Dr. Djoendjoenan, Unpas Campus V, Wednesday, 21 September 2022.
Concerning Unpas’ accreditation-rank will end and expire on 28 December 2023, Unpas is currently preparing its accreditation-rank, switched from A to the ‘excellent’ one and arrange instruments related needed.
Unpas FEB, with its three department which is consistently accredited A was also appreciated by the Rector. He said that the achievement is one of the provisions to achieve an excellent nomenclature.
“We have huge homework to do, Unpas, having its A-ranked accreditation institution, must be able to get to a excellent rank and take part in the Conversion Supplementary Instrument (Instrumen Suplemen Konversi, ISK),” he explained after being a speaker at the AIP training.
According to the Rector, the challenges faced by universities in the future are quite difficult. Moreover, universities have started to switch from a bureaucracy university to a corporate university or entrepreneurial university, including Unpas.
“This should be prepared optimally and properly, along with training with teachers, for example to swift from inbox-thinking to outbox-thinking. Vocational education should also be united to the other system,” he said.
The Rector also gives training with the theme “Meretas Entrepreneur University Melalui Scientific Collaboration”. Scientific collaboration can train our right and left brain work pattern combined with their utilization.
To support and obtain excellent-ranked accreditation, Dean of Unpas FEB, Dr. Atang Hermawan, MSIE., Ak. said that Unpas FEB has developed 3 incubator programs, namely for teachers, education staffs, and students.
This program is also prepared to face international accreditation of departments and improve the quality of the faculty. (Reta)**
