BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Division of Pramuka for Office of Youths and Sports (Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga, Dispora) South Tangerang holds a comparative study to Pramuka Universitas Pasundan Racana Letjen Mashudi – Emma Poeradiredja, on Tuesday, 8 November 2022.
This comparative study aims to gather information regarding superior database and pramuka in Bandung.
South Tangerang Dispora which has currently been formed chose Unpas Pramuka as its place for doing comparative study because of its productivities, experiences, excellences and various activities that have been carried out.
Head of Unpas Bureau of Student Affairs R. Hj. Iin Martina, S.H. said that Unpas Pramuka could be a role model of pramuka activities/programs, especially those which are related to Tri Bina Pramuka Pandega.
“Unpas Pramuka has been actively carrying out self-development, unit development, and community development. It also also has an educational study program, so that scout activities would be more developed,” he explained.
He also added that, from the results of the visit, Unpas Pramuka received an honorary invitation from the Tangerang Dispora to participate in the Ujung Kulon expedition which will be held in March 2023.
“Unpas Pramuka have five specialties, namely scouting techniques, survival, mountainering, land navigation, and PPGD. Members who have survival, mountainering, and land navigation skills can join to share experiences,” he continued.
Advisor of Racana Putra Lt. Gen. Mashudi Haris MH Nurman Niamulloh said, in the field of self-development, Unpas Pramuka focused on leadership training, specialization training, and being involved in work units.
In the unit development activities, Unpas Pramuka assigns members to become scout instructors in the front group of schools, attend Basic Advanced Courses (Kursus Mahir Dasar, KMD) for Pandega candidates, and coaching capacity building training.
Meanwhile, community development is directed to the University Tri Dharma, such as holding village services, providing social assistance, and going to disaster areas.
“Unpas Pramuka also have other uniqueness. Before Pandega candidates are confirmed, they must take part in Home Stay activities or service at locations that have been determined by the Racana Advisor,” he explained. (Reta)**
