BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – After holding the university-level PKKMB on Saturday, 2 October 2021, new students of Universitas Pasundan attended the series of similar event in each faculty.
A faculty-level PKKMB was held simultaneously in Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Teaching and Education and Faculty of Art and Literature.
Faculty of Medicine has previously held similar program in 4-19 September 2021, fulfilled with various activities, including socialization program of ‘Kenal Thalasemia’, blood donor, the election of Kabayan-Iteung, and the peak event.
Unlike the university-level of PKKMB, in the faculty-level, new students will receive more detailed information about the campus life. This event is also broadcasted on the YouTube channel of each faculty.
The program consisted of introducing faculty function, mechanism and faculty’s academic system, students’ organization, administration process and an overview of each study programs.
Other that faculty-level PKKMB, the study program/department is now preparing the new student’s orientation (masa bimbingan, mabim). Mabim is maintained by students’ community of each study program and held in limited duration since it is still online.
“The faculties are urged to do the program as effective as possible. The materials of profile introduction can be explained and shown in a video in a well-creative-packed way. The faculty-level PKKMB is commonly held in three hours,” explained the Unpas Vice Rector III of Student Affairs, Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si., on Monday, 4 October 2021.
