BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan passed the selection for Program of Kampus Merdeka Competition (Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka, PK-KM) for Batch I 2022.
Based on the selection result, there are 108 universities which received fund assistance of PK-KM for Batch I 2022. These universities were divided into League I, League II and League III. Unpas successfully passed League I along with 31 other universities.
Previously, Unpas has completed number of steps, namely administrative selection, quality evaluation and proposal appropriateness, as well as appropriateness verification.
“Unpas received the grant fund of PK-KM for Insitutional Support System (ISS) of MBKM, Department of Social Welfare Studies (FISIP), Department of Education for Elementary School Teacher (FKIP) and Department of Environmental Engineering (FT),” explained Unpas Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. H. Jaja Suteja, M.Si, on Friday, 8 July 2022.
Referring to the 2022 PK-KM Guidelines, League I universities are confirmed to have strong basis to do the acceleration in transforming at the international level based on each universities’ niche.
League I PK-KM is expected to fasten/accelerate each department to obtain its performance recognized at the international level. Universities are also encouraged to be more independent, healthier and highlight/show their excellences in University Tri Dharma based on their mission differentiation they own.
Amongst 32 universities in League I, twenty-four (24) of them are state universities, while the rest are private ones, including Unpas.
“In LLDIKTI Region IV, there are 12 universities which receive the fund-assistance of Batch I 2022 PK-KM. Unpas is the only university in LLDIKTI Region I who is included in League I category,” he continued.
PK-KM is a university’s development program which aims to improve the quality and relevance through the achievement for 8 Main Performance Indicators (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU).
“ISS MBKM is specifically aimed at strengthening MBKM governance, facilitating the implementation of Kampus Merdeka, and supporting the transformation of higher education carried out in all study programs,” he explained. (Reta)**
