BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – UNPAS Faculty of Medicine provides 50 seats for new students in the New Student Admission. The registration phase I started from Januari 25th to April 25th, 2021.
According to the Rector of UNPAS, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp., M.Si., M.Kom., IPU, apart from having to keep the quality and community’s trust, the confirmation of the number is also based on the regulation of Ministry of Health, National Accreditation Agency of Higher Education (BAN PT) and the supervisory institution, which is University of Padjadjaran.
“The student admission regulation for Faculty of Medicine is now only for 50 students. Later than 5 years, it is allowed to have even more,” he explained in UNPAS Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi, Bandung, on Saturday (March 13th, 2021).
He also explained that the new prospective students who are interested in getting into UNPAS Faculty of Medicine could do the registration process online by visiting the page pmb.unpas.ac.id or come directly to UNPAS Campus V, Jalan Sumatera No. 41, Bandung.
The requirements and administration that must be fulfilled are including: (1) A high school graduates or are currently in 3-grade of SMA/ MA majoring in IPA; (2) Attachment of legalized copy of diplomas and/ or SKHUN; (3) Copy of semester 1-6 report cards; (4) Copy of personal identities; and (5) Copy of birth certificates (if any). All of them are attached in 1 sheet/ copy.
Apart from that, the new prospective students who have non-academic achievements can also attach their certificate and two recent photographs (3×4-sized and 4×6-sized photo with red-colored background).
As for the selection test, the new students are required to do the written test through the New Student Admission website. It includes scholastic test, integrated IPA test, medical biology, math, Bahasa Indonesia and English.
“After taking the written test, the new student must take the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) test online through Zoom Cloud Meeting platform. The test is a psychological examination supposed to evaluate personal characteristic and psychopathology,” added the Rector.
Furthermore, student’s parents will also be invited to attend the Open House through Zoom Cloud Meeting platform which will discuss several topics, such as infrastructures and facilities, tuition fee, academic quality, et cetera.
“If one has taken and passed the written test, MMPI and Open House (for parents), the new student is required to submit medical test result, namely Health Certificate issued by a government hospital and Color-blind Certificate by an eye specialist doctor,” he closed (Reta Amaliyah S)*
