Bandung, Unpas.ac.id – As many as 96 administrators of Indonesian Young Entrepreneur Association of Higher Education Universitas Pasundan (Himpunan Pengusaha Muda Indonesia Perguruan Tinggi, HIPMI PT) in the period of 2021/2022 were officially appointed by Branch-Administrator Board Bandung (Badan Pengurus Cabang, BPC) at Grand Preanger Hotel Bandung, on Saturday, 23 October 2021.
These administrators are student representatives from several faculties in both Bachelor and Master Program. General Chairman of Unpas HIPMI PT elected is Irpan Muchamad Ghani.
The official appointment was attended by Head of Office for Bandung Cooperatives and Small Medium Enterprises Atet Dendi Handiman, Section Head of Unpas Student Affairs Cucu Ganda Soemantri and other administrators of Bandung and West Java BPD.
Head of Office for Bandung Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises, Atet Budi Handiman stated that members involved in HIPMI are those who dare to take risks.
“People who are brave enough to choose to set up a business will have a more optimal result compared to those who have fixed-income. These people are able to create new job opportunities for the others,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Section Head of Unpas Student Affairs, Cucu Ganda Soemantri hoped that Unpas HIPMI PT could be the place that can build an entrepreneurial ambiance within campus environment.
“We hope Unpas HIPMI PT, as business incubator, could educate its members and become a place for consultation for students in learning entrepreneurship,” he said.
General Chairman of Unpas HIPMI PT, Irpan Muchamad Ghani said that as new-established organization, Unpas HIPMI PT is still looking for its suitable and ideal way for recruiting its members as well as setting up business incubation.
However, he will also warm/ heat up the ‘crazy’ ideas from the administrators about running the association and is ready to make Unpas HIPMI PT as the role model for other HIPMI PTs in Indonesia.
“One of the steps is by preparing ‘Pasundanpreneur’ movement that lists every business ran by the administrator and seniors, as well as connecting their business to every sectors. Let us just say, if we have an administrator running the business in fashion, we are ready to distribute the products,” said the class-of-2018 student.
In that event, the national entrepreneurial seminar was also held by CEO of Founders Talent, Agung Irianto. Its theme was about “Menciptakan wirausaha muda yang berkompeten dalam menghadapi perpindahan revolusi industri 4.0 menuju 5.0 untuk mencapai Indonesia emas 2045”.
Last but no least, several products from these entrepreneurs were also marketed in that event, one of which is Coffee Pasundan which is a joint venture with Unpas HIPMI PT. (Aang)*
