BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Universitas Pasundan becomes the only private university under LLDIKTI Region IV that successfully passed the selection for administrator of Instructional Techniques Basic Skills Improvement Training (Pelatihan Peningkatan Keterampilan Dasar Teknik Instruksional, Pekerti) and Applied Approach (AA).
The training/AA is an initiation from Ditjen Dikti to improve pedagogical competence for teachers. This is important since they are required to have basic skills in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning systems.
Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU also sent his gratitude regarding the proposal selection. Unpas was considered to fulfill the criteria as administrator for Pekerti/AA training.
“Alhamdulillah. Unpas is the only private university under LLDIKTI Region IV that passed the selection for administrator of Pekerti/AA training. Among 78 universities joined to submit the proposal, only 57 passed,” explain the Rector on Monday, July 12th, 2021.
The event of this training needs to meet the minimum standard of curriculum based on the 2004 Guidelines of Implementation and Materials of Pekerti/AA. Its training instructor is also required to have certain certificate.
In the near future, Unpas is able to hold the Pekerti/AA public training for teachers from other universities as participants. If there is collaboration with the other universities, participants is only limited to those in the university concerned.
“Today, Unpas, by the support of Instructional Activity Improvement and Development Center (Pusat Peningkatan dan Pengembangan Aktivitas Instruksional, P3AI) has officially obtained a license as the administrator for Diklat Pekerti/AA, not only for Unpas internal teachers, but also teachers around Indonesia,” he continued.
Unpas has now a right to issue the certificate as proof certification and teachers’ passing-announcement in Pekerti/AA training. Teachers’ data who passed the training will be further reported to the Directorate of Resources through SISTER (Sistem Informasi Sumber Daya Terintegrasi, Integrated Resources Information System) application.
On the selection result letter, the Directorate will regularly monitor and evaluate the university administrating the training. In addition, the training materials, both for Pekerti and AA program, will be informed later.(Reta)*
