BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – West Java PT Jaswita’s CEO of Finance and Human Resource, Ir. H. Shobirin F. Hamid, S.E., M.M was officially elected and announced as Head of Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni, IKA) for Unpas Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Pasundan, for the period of 2022-2027.
The meeting for the election of the Head of IKA FEB Unpas was held in TB Hasanuddin Meeting Room, Unpas FEB, on Thursday, 14 April 2022. The meeting was attended by Unpas Vice Rector III Dr. H. Deden Ramdan, M.Si., Unpas FEB Vice Dean III Dikdik Kusdiana S.E., M.T., and approximately 30 alumni from various generations.
Shobirin is an alumnus of class-of-1990 Management Department. Before serving as West Java PT Jaswita’s CEO of Finance and Human Resource, he once served in strategic position in several private companies and in state-owned enterprises.
This Tasikmalaya-born alumnus said tha IKA FEB Unpas is not a place for gathering the alumni. He emphasized that IKA FEB Unpas should be the supporting system for the alumni to be able to be more professional and empowered.
“I hope IKA FEB could be a communication forum between alumni, even more, be a media of exchanging information about business,” he said, on Sunday, 17 April 2022
Furthermore, students can also take advantage of IKA FEB Unpas to enlarge and get a connection and career stability when they graduate. Later, IKA FEB Unpas will be prepared and ready to be more active to develop FEB Unpas and strengthen the network.
“IKA FEB Unpas will be having a routine meeting in order to gather all members aspiring their thoughts, as well as being the partner and the accommodative and supportive university counterpart,” he added.
He invited all FEB Unpas alumni to work hand-in-hand to make IKA FEB Unpas much better. “Let us make IKA FEB Unpas more developed and beneficial for all alumni, from now on,” he concluded. (Reta)*
