As he stated, as the population grows increasingly, Indonesia needs more entrepreneurs in business and enterprises (especially in Small, Micro, Medium Enterprises) to support economic growth and movement. WMM Program is also related to the regulation of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program; one of which is by including Entrepreneurship as one of the subjects of learning activity. This regulation encourages the development of students’ entrepreneurial interest by applying suitable learning process program.
Head of Unpas MBKM Team Dr. Cartono, M.Pd., MT stated that the partnering activity with Bank Mandiri is very useful, especially for the PIC of MBKM Entrepreneurship BKP in order to simply introduce campus’ life to the need of stakeholder or graduates’ user.
“The regulation is in line with the learning paradigm challenge of the 21st century, namely critical thinking, collaboration, communication and character. The generic competency will change sooner or later; therefore, be the expert who takes the collaborative paradigm up front,” he said.
He hoped the collaboration would not be only associated with the fund/ finance, but also more or less moral responsibility to build students’ quality.
