BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Starting from her concern and sorrow for Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indoneisa, a young entrepreneur as well as Doctoral Candidate student in Law Study Department in Universitas Pasundan, Riris Riska Diana, was moved to provide free vaccinations, especially for residents of Depok.
The owner of Winstelle Skincare beauty product business co-worked with the Indonesian National Police to establish vaccination outlets at several points Depok in 5-8 August, 2021.
She provided thousand of vaccines as protection for people from being easily exposed to Covid-19. For four days the event was held, there were more or less 1500 people participating on it.
“I invite people to come here. It did not take much time, 10 minutes tops. It also took short time for them to protect themselves from the risk of Covid-19 exposure,” she said.
Riris, an alumnus of Unpas Law Study Department, also said that she herself was sad every time she heard the news of the loss of a family member due to Covid-19. She wanted to give her best contribution because there are still residents in Depok who have not been vaccinated.
“I think about the way I should contribute to prevent the increase of Covid-19. It should be done by better be staying at home, avoiding making contacts and activities, or being brave of getting vaccinated to protect us and our family,” she explained.
This initiative program to provide vaccines for Depok residents also aims to help accelerate the program of Vaksinasi Merdeka movement. Thus, the target of giving 1 million vaccines per day can be achieved quickly.
In this vaccination program, she did not only facilitate, but also educated the public that the vaccines used were safe-guaranteed. Even though it is hard for Indonesia to keep up due to the Emergency State of PPKM which is still being extended, she hoped that the community could take the positive side.
“I am sure Indonesia will be going to regain its health. Therefore, in this such situation and condition, we need to work together to gain people’s health. Hopefully, we could do our activities as usual,” she concluded. (Reta)*
