BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – There are a lot of ways to make Ramadhan more meaningful: one of which is through tadabbur Al-Quran. Not only it is meaningful, studying Al-Quran also improve our faith and make our heart more peaceful.
To make Ramadhan more exciting, Faculty of Arts and Literature (FISS) Universitas Pasundan holds various interesting activities included in the Ramadhan Fissta 1443H program.
Dean of Unpas FISS Dr. Hj. Senny Suzanna Alwasilah, SS., M.Pd said that Ramadhan Fissta 1443h is a premiere event targeted for teachers and academic staffs to get to know and love more about Al-Quran.
Ramadhan Fissta 1443H was held at the Hall of H. Hasan Mustafa, Unpas Campus IV, Jalan Dr. Setiabudhi No. 193, Bandung, on Monday, 18 April 2022. The series of the event was filled by various competitions: including competition of Al-Quran hafiz and hafizah, Al-Quran reciting and a three-minute religious lecture (kuliah tilu menit, tausiah).
“Ramadhan Fissta 1443H was attended by 22 participants. All competition categories have their own enthusiasm, indicating that the teachers and academic staffs in Unpas FISS have already been mostly close to Al-Quran. They only look ‘beastly’ on the outside,” she said.
The judges of Ramadhan Fissta 1443H are the organizers of DKM Ulul Albab, namely Agung Sahrudin, SS., Rizki Faisal, ST and Agung Dewanto.
“I hope this program could add more spirits for the teachers and academic staffs in FISS to get closer to the religion studies, love Al-Quran more, get braver to speak in front of the public,” she continued.
Because this year’s Ramadhan is in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, Unpas FISS has not planned to hold similar program for students yet.
However, Unpas FISS will still hold Ramadhan Fissta as regular routine event every year, certainly by adding some more competition categories.
“Insya Allah Ramahdan Fissta will be still held and probably added with some more competition categories, such as azan, calligraphy and so on. For student, it cannot be held yet. But if it has a 100 percent on site meeting, it could be probably held as soon as possible,” she concluded. (Reta)*
