BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – Head of Office for Local Record/Archive Management and Libraries (Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Daerah, Disipusda) Purwakarta Mohamad Ramdhan was set as Head of Alumni Association (Ikatan Keluarga Alumni, IKA) Local Commisariat of Purwakarta 2022-2027.
Towards the end of Central IKA Unpas’ management, each Komda is encouraged to implement Local Gathering (Musyawarah Daerah, Musda) and select the leader.
The gathering of IKA Unpas Komda Purwakarta was attended by General Chairman of Paguyuban Pasundan for Purwakarta Drs. H. Mamam Rosama KM., MM., Dean of Unpas FISIP Dr. M. Budiana, M.Si., Head of Central IKA Unpas Dr. Subur Dwiona, M.Si and at least 30 alumni.
Ramdhan was selected by acclamation system in the gathering held for the first time at the Hall of Disipusda Purwakarta Building, Jl. Veteran, Komplek Perum Griya Asri, on Sunday, 31 July 2022.
He stated that Unpas has grown up and developed much to become a pride university for the society. From year to year, its alumni have been increasing: even more, there are many of them serving strategic position.
“In Purwakarta, there are 300 alumni spread in various institutions and companies. We have often held gathering forum between alumni. Well, this gathering is to legitimate and make IKA Unpas Komda Purwakarta legally official,” he said.
Alumni of class-of-1987 of Department of State Administration (now, Public Administration) also added that IKA Unpas Komda Purwakrata will make programs which are in line with the context of community service program.
“We will arrange the form in advance, to be able to set the alumni programs soon. We hope, our alumni friends will willingly spare their time to take collaboration wholeheartedly as administrator of IKA Unpas Komda Purwakarta,” he continued.
He is also prepared to be responsible and embrace the entire Unpas alumni to build and make IKA Unpas bigger in Purwakarta District.
Initiating Interesting Program in Disipusda
During his serve as Head of Disipusda Purwakarta, Ramdhan has successfully initiated and made several innovation programs to grow literacy in Purwakarta District. One of them is ‘five programs of excellence libraries’ (lima program perpustakaan unggulan, Lipperpul) which successfully obtained achievements from National Library (Perpustakaan Nasional, Perpusnas) as the best district in implementing transformation program of social inclusion-based library.
On that program, Disipusda Purwakarta provide e-book-based library services which are named after the typical culinary of Purwakarta, namely Maranggi (maca rame-rame ngangge digital), Getuk Lindri (gerakan untuk literasi mandiri), Simping (sumber informasi melalui pelayanan perpustakaan keliling) Pala Manggu (pelayanan hari Minggu), and Ngala Manggu (ngabuka layanan Sabtu jeung Minggu).
