BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – To create the implementation of University Tri Dharma optimally, Universitas Pasundan, along with its faculties, including FISIP, FEB and Faculty of Engineering signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universitas Pertamina, on Thursday, 4 August 2022.
The event was attended by Rector of Universitas Pertamina, Prof. IGN Wiratmaja Puja, Ph.D, Vice Rector for Research, Development and Collaboration, Vice Rector for Finance and Organizational Source as well as Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs.
It was also attended by Unpas Vice Rectors, Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) Dr. M. Budiana, M.Si., Dean of Faculty of Economic and Business (FEB) Dr. H. Atang Hermawan, MSIE., Ak and Dean of Faculty of Engineering (FT) Dr. Ir. Yusman Taufik, M.P.
The MoU was signed by Rector of Unpas Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Jusuf Sp,, M.Si., M.Kom., IPU and Rector of Universitas Pertamina Prof. IGN Wiratmaja Puja, Ph.D at Rector’s Meeting Room, Unpas Campus II, Jalan Tamansari No. 6-8 Bandung.
The collaboration will cover and focuse on University Tri Dharma, namely education process, research and community service.
“This is an actualization/manifestation of collaboration. We must be synergized with the current potentials, even more, we currently recognize program such as resource sharing in which one of them is actualized through collaboration,” said the Rector.
He also emphasized that the collaboration taken should refer and support to the achievement of 8 Main Performance Indicators (Indikator Kinerja Utama, IKU).
“Achieving IKU becomes the gentle agreement which should be carried out by each university. We hope this collaboration could keep going and provide benefits for both parties,” he added.
Rector of Universitas Pertamina Prof. IGN Wiratmaja Puja, Ph.D stated that the collaboration taken in the field of education will cover up quality and competency improvement of the human resources; while in the field of research, it will cover up developing science and technology in a form of commercial project. At the same time, in the field of community service, the collaboration will cover and provide contribution for social welfare improvement formed in a collaboration of humanity project.
“Universitas Pertamina has just been established in 2016. We still need guidance and collaboration expansion. Unpas has already had lots of experience, while we still focus on technology and business. We hope this action would soon come true,” he concluded. (Reta)**
