BANDUNG, unpas.ac.id – In two consecutive months, student of Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Universitas Pasundan, Rizki Fauzi successfully won 4 titles of national video competition.
Although he studies in Department of Biology Education, he has qualified creativity and soft skill. He also learns to collect concepts, take stock shoot and edit video independently.
He obtained these outstanding achievements when he won Runner Up for Lomba Seni Bicara “Cegah Stunting” in the commemoration of BKKBN program Stunting Prevention Campaign.
Rizi wrapped the video in a form of monologue, equipped with kids-friendly animation and understandable explanation. According to Rizki, people’s lack of knowledge about stunting becomes one of the reasons of high number of stunting in Indonesia.
“I intended to apply the materials on Ilmu Gizi course I learned at campus in advance, since it is correlated with BKKBM campaign on stunting prevention. Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to pass Top 50 and become a champion,” he said, on Tuesday, 6 September 2022.
Not long after, Rizki also won Runner Up in the Vlog Contest for Tim Penggerak PKK “Towards Indonesian Families to Protect Children from Sexual Violence (Keluarga Indonesia Linduni Anak dari Kekerasan Seksual, KILAS) with the theme “Prevent and Fight Against Sexting towards Children”.
Right now, allowing children to consume pornography has a long-lasting impact. Exchanging sexual content or sexting is no longer an impossible thing for children to do. Moreover, now many parents are giving their children cell phone and internet access.
“I am campaigning to prevent sexting to coincide with National Children’s Day. To prevent sexting, we need to have discussions to train children’s critical reasoning, make agreements or mutual agreements, teach consequences, and become providers of information,” said Rizki.
Maintaining on Working Creative Ideas
Rebuilding his creative ideas, Rizki joined the Video Competition “Ayo Berkoperasi” held by Indonesian Ministry of Cooperative and Micro and Small Enterprise (Kementrian Koperasi dan UKM, Kemekopukm) in the commemoration of the 2022 National Cooperative Day and won the first place.
“There are many people thinking that the activities in cooperative are only about saving-and-borrowing money. Cooperative also provides various kinds of products and services. In the competition, I explained how to establish a cooperative, which is added with interesting animations so that people are motivated to improve their economic life by cooperating,” he explained.
Finally, coinciding with West Java’s 77th Anniversary, Rizki won the RCTI OK X West Java Champion Station ID Competition through a video entitled “Kolaborasi 7 Profesi Menuju Jabar Juara, Indonesia Juara”.
Through his achievements, student who is also member of the Kelompok Belajar Mengajar Berani Berkreativitas (KBM Berantas) and Sinergi Foundation is increasingly motivated to take advantage of opportunities and express his creative ideas to educate the public.
Previously, Rizki had also won the Environmental Campaign Project Assignment of the Youth Care Forum for Garbage Edition 2 (Forum Pemuda Peduli Sampah, FORMULA E2), 3rd place in the West Java BKKBN Elderly Family TikTok Competition, and became a participant in the 2021 DUHA (Halal Lifestyle Ambassador) Project Implementation.
